Just so I can follow YOU

So I have a pair of jeans that fit me really well and I like them a lot. They are made by Levi but when I went the levi site a few months after buying the pants, Levi had no record of these pants. I tried looking on like amazon at that time and still couldn’t find them. But just over Thanksgiving break I decided I really wanted another pair of these jeans. So I got on Amazon once again and there they were! I was so excited. I ordered them on Tuesday and had them 2 day shipped, but they just arrived today. I go to try them on and THEY DON’T FIT! I’m wearing the supposed exact pants just different a wash. I compared the two seam to seam and the old pair was over an inch wider! They are the same size. I really wanted these pants and now they don’t fit. Dumb jeans.

So all I wanted to do was watch Netfilx on my Wii but no it had to be stupid. Apparently since in order to use the internet in our dorms we need to sign into the schools network , the Wii’s internet is incompatible and won’t allow me to use it. The Wii doesn’t support a sign in screen. I even called the Wii support line. First the guy wasn’t very nice to me since I’m a girl and he assumed I had no idea what I was talking about. And then he gave me bad news. So now I can’t use the internet on my Wii at all and there is no way around it. Ugh this is very frustrating news.

A year ago my best friend passed away. I’m not looking for sympathy or anything like that. I usually refrain from sharing the story if I can. But today I went on facebook it was only 9am and like 6 people already had some sort of post about how much they miss Her and like RIP and such. Its really frustrating to see because those people aren’t doing it to show respect or anything like that. They do it to receive attention themselves. Ever since a year ago people write on Her wall and they are people who weren’t even all that good of friends with Her. There are so many others ways they could keep her memory alive rather than showing the facebook community. Write a letter to yourself and store it away then when you are feeling sad you can add to the letter or talk to a really close friend about it, or your mom. It’s also hard for me to then go on facebook and see that every time. I decided to not go on facebook today and probably not tomorrow either if I can help. I just can’t deal with that.

It’s really great to have a helpful RA. I actually wouldn’t know because my RA is never around and when she is, she doesn’t know what is going on. Take this morning for an example. I was awoken by the deafening sound of the tornado alarm. I can hear all the other girls in the hall getting concerned so they knocked on the RA’s door. She didn’t answer the first couple knocks so the girls went away. Then the RA comes out and tell everyone to go back to their room because it was just a test. First off its not the first tuesday of the month nor do they test it that early in the morning. Also they don’t test the alarms when the weather outside actually looks like there could be a tornado. But I was tired so I decided it was a test just so I could go back to sleep. 8:45 rolls around and my alarm went off for me to get up and take a shower. We still weren’t sure about the tornado situation and I didn’t really want to get in the shower if I had to to go to the basement. My roommate who had at 9am class knocked on the RA’s door just to confirm that classes were still on. The RA again informed us it was just a test.  I grabbed my stuff and headed to the shower. I was almost done when someone comes in the bathroom and says “girls in the shower, you need to get out and go to the basement.” What? I thought to myself, my RA just said there was nothing to worry about. So I get out, go back to room and change so I can go to the basement wet hair and all. My roommate and I didn’t really hustle so by the time we made out way to the stairs everyone was already coming back up. I could have stayed in the shower. Oh well I guess that just means that I probably shouldn’t listen to my RA.

So today I went to the cafe at my school to get something to drink. I debated between a V8 splash or a SoBe life water, since the SoBe is a larger bottle and they are the same price I naturally went with the SoBe. As I go to grab the bottle I noticed that the grip on the bottle is at the bottom. Who holds a bottle like that? It has been awhile since I had a SoBe life water but every time I make some sort of comment about how impractical the placement of that grip is.
